From a protective standpoint, molded pulp’s inherent resilience enables it to outperform most vacuum-formed plastic and corrugated designs, as well as expanded polystyrene (EPS), especially when vibration is involved.

Most products are more complicated dimensionally than a simple cube. Molded pulp can be designed with deep cavities and fairly complex geometry, to protect a product’s most fragile angles and protrusions. We are only limited to the imagination of our customers.

Custom-designed molded pulp packaging has become the packaging medium of choice for such items as electronics and computer peripherals. It is also used for numerous household appliances, telecommunications, medical, food service, consumer goods, furniture protection, bottled goods, and a variety of other applications. Molded pulp is a cost-effective choice for moderate to high volume packages with some weight restrictions.

Difongreen has no design charges, although there is a “set up and trial sample” fee for all custom items developed and produced. Once your item has been approved, Difongreen does not charge for duplicate production tooling. Tooling has been designed to be easily and inexpensively duplicated, changed, or repaired, saving customers money.

Most items can be designed and quoted within one or two weeks. Once the quote has been approved, the sample item can be produced within a few weeks. After final testing and final approval, duplicate production tools require an additional 2-3 weeks. Timing may vary based on the complexity and requirements necessary for a successful package.

Difongreen has a documented quality management system that includes daily detailed production logs that are reviewed after each shift. Any issues are discussed and remedied as quickly as possible. In addition, every piece is individually handled and inspected before being packaged for shipment.
